On Saturday, June 30 at The Presbyterian Church of Chestnut Hill, The Crossing gave the world premier of new work The Arc in the Sky by Philadelphia-based composer Kile Smith. The performance took place as part of The Crossing's Month of Moderns Festival.

The 60th Grammy Award nominations were announced on November 28th, 2017, and include Alliance artists The Crossing (Best Choral Performance) and Jordi Savall (Best Classical Compendium).

The Crossing's 2017 Month of Moderns series brought new choral music to performances in the choir's hometown of Philadelphia. The Month of Moderns concerts will be broadcast on Philadelphia's WRTI, with the first airing on Sunday, August 27th at 4PM.

June 20, 2017

The Crossing have been awarded a $200,000 Project Grant from Philadelphia's Pew Center for Arts and Heritage. The grant will support the development of 'Aniara', a hybrid choral-theater work developed in collaboration with The Crossing and Finnish theater company Klockriketeatern, with music composed by Guggenheim and Pew Fellow Robert Maggio.
