"This is the tale of an ancient and magical horn, a horn in which lived a powerful and ferocious genie, a horn stolen long ago from its rightful owner, a horn that has disappeared in all but legend..."

Legends provide the inspiration for many wonderful pieces of orchestral music. Musical instruments themselves have many ancient and mysterious roots. The Magic Circle Mime Company and Academy Award nominated composer Bruce Broughton bring these truths musically and dramatically to life in this new family concert program.

"Sahara Bob", an adventurer of questionable character, has agreed to show his collection of exotic musical instruments as part of a "legends in music" concert. For an additional fee he agrees to demonstrate some of these instruments. Now as the concert unfolds, the audience will learn of some intriguing ancestors to the instruments of the orchestra, hear orchestral music with legendary themes, and discover just what became of "The Magic Horn".
