The Crossing's 2017 Month of Moderns series brought new choral music to performances in the choir's hometown of Philadelphia. The Month of Moderns concerts will be broadcast on Philadelphia's WRTI, with the first airing on Sunday, August 27th at 4PM.

The Crossing have been awarded a $200,000 Project Grant from Philadelphia's Pew Center for Arts and Heritage. The grant will support the development of 'Aniara', a hybrid choral-theater work developed in collaboration with The Crossing and Finnish theater company Klockriketeatern, with music composed by Guggenheim and Pew Fellow Robert Maggio.
