On May 8, 2019, Trio Mediaeval performed in the crypt of the Speyer Cathedral in Speyer, Germany, with a program entitled "Conductus in Castile," that combined medieval music with works that were newly composed for the three Norwegian musicians. The event was part of the Schwetzinger SWR Festival.

On the Thursday before Thanksgiving, perhaps the most American of holidays, artists from two continents are gathering at Penn State to perform the premiere of Steel Hammer, a 21st-century adaptation of a quintessentially American folktale. New York City's Bang on a Can All-Stars and Norway's Trio Mediaeval perform the evening-length Steel Hammer at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, in Eisenhower Auditorium.

On Tuesday, May 13, Trio Mediaeval was featured on WNYC's New Sounds show 2662. From the New Sounds Live concerts at Merkin Hall, Trio Mediaeval performs a set of early music, alongside contemporary works written for them, and arrangements of Nordic folksong.

Trio Mediaeval's Folk Songs has been nominated for a prestigious "Spellemannprisen" in Norway, which award the best recordings of 2007 (Norway's equivalent to the Grammys). The trio is among three other nominees in the "Folk Music" category. The award-winners will be announced on February 2.
